Description
Dentistry is one of our passions here at D.A Veterinary Clinic. Not only does plaque and tartar build up cause bad breath in your pet, but it can lead to oral pain, decreased appetite, and periodontal disease. Periodontal disease affects your pet’s mouth and can also cause damage in the liver, kidney, and heart muscle.
Most dental disease occurs below the gum line, where it’s hard to see. This is why it is important for pets to have a thorough dental exam and cleaning done under anaesthesia.
